JV came back from a 3-1 halftime deficit to win 4-3. Ryan Nigh scored 2 second half goals to seal the win. Iran Daza and Jay Kawakami scored as well. Joao Rivera scored within the first 5 minutes for the varsity. The Golden Bears dominated the middle of the field in the first 40. Two goals by Diego Hernandez gave us a 3-0 cushion at the break. Rivera got his brace just 42 seconds into the second half. Rory O’Connor converted a penalty and Brock Wischmeyer scored to give Shelbyville a 6-1 advantage.
