The Blue Devils showed out in today's competition where they just needed to be placed in the top four to advance to Regionals. The big two other teams that they needed to keep their eyes on were Armada and Notre Dame Prep. Richmond came out in Round 1 'ELECTRIC' in their home gym sending a message that 'BLUE IS BACK' and a quote saying 'WE WANT IT BACK'. They proved it by scoring a season high 237.5 just right behind NDP scoring a 238.5 with Armada in 3rd place scoring a 234.8. Round 2 would be the same for the Blue Devils but were now trailing scoring a 227.9, Armada with a 228.98, and NDP with a 230.96. After sub totals, Richmond scored a 465.4, Armada with a 463.78, and NDP remaining cat the top with a 469.46. The Blue Devils knew that they needed a clean Round 3 to keep the pace with the Fighting Irish. They did not disappoint setting a school record score with a 321.1. The crowd went absolutely crazy on Richmond's side of the bleachers. However, it wouldn't be enough to counter with NDP to claim the District Championship but will move onto Regionals this Saturday 5:00 at Hartland H.S along with NDP, Armada, and Algonac! #WBLB #GoBlueDevils
