Richmond had their final BWAC meet of the year at Yale H.S with it also being Senior Night. The Blue Devils came out strong to show that Blue Is Back with great energy on the mat along their crowd going crazy as the girls were doing multiple skills and and multiple jumps that would give them the lead after Round 1 with a 233.8 with Armada trailing them with a 231.00 and Cros Lex with a 228.8. Round 2 would be next as it was another great round but it would be just short of the highest score in round 2 as Armada took the lead within a point. Richmond knew what happened to them last year as they were short as their rival Armada won the league title last year but this year, was a different story as the lady Blue Devils stuck round 3 with the crowd roaring in excitement as that would eventually carry over to bring the BWAC Championship back to Richmond since the'22-'23 season, the 21st time in program history, and coach Kelli Matthes's 16th BWAC Championship at Richmond! It would also be the last league meet for our 4 seniors Autumn, Faith, Mariah, and Addison. What these four girls did that night truly showed the leadership, the role modeling skills and the legacy they have made in Richmond. #WBLB
