North Vermillion High School is seeking applicants for the position of Head Girls Basketball Coach. We are looking for a committed leader who will develop student-athletes both on and off the court, build a positive program culture, and represent North Vermillion with professionalism and integrity. Position Details: Varsity Head Girls Basketball Coach All teaching positions will be considered Application Timeline: Applications will be accepted until May 1, 2026 First round interviews will be conducted the week of May 4, 2026 Second round interviews (if needed) will be conducted the week of May 11, 2026 Final approval is anticipated at the May 19, 2026 School Board Meeting Responsibilities Include: Organizing and leading all aspects of the girls basketball program Developing student-athletes in character, teamwork, and skill Engaging and supporting the development of the youth basketball program Hiring, developing, and leading assistant coaches Communicating effectively with players, families, and school staff Promoting academic success and accountability among student-athletes Maintaining compliance with school and Indiana High School Athletic Association regulations Supporting multi-sport participation and overall athletic department goals Application Process: Interested applicants should submit: Cover Letter Resume References Teaching License (if applicable) Applications should be sent to: Martin Brown, Athletic Director mdbrown@nvc.k12.in.us
