The Ligonier Valley mountain biking team wrapped up its inaugural Western Conference season with a strong performance at the final rally of the season at Boyce Park. Ligonier Valley finished sixth in Division 1 with 3,074 points, capping off an impressive first season of competition. Leading the way for the Rams were several strong individual performances. Luke Sylvester finished sixth in the JV1 division, followed by Henry Fisher in 10th and Eli Cooper in 14th. In JV3, Cole Kramer placed eighth, while Evan Anderson finished 12th. At the conclusion of the Western Conference series, Ligonier Valley finished sixth overall for the season. The result marks a successful first season for the program and provides plenty of momentum heading into the postseason. Luke Sylvester also earned individual recognition, finishing third overall in the JV1 standings for the Western Conference season. The Rams will now turn their attention to the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Cycling League State Championship next weekend at Fair Hill, Maryland.
