The Ligonier Valley Boys’ Golf team continued their outstanding season on Wednesday, September 16, with a 208-216 victory over Mt. Pleasant at Norvelt Golf Course. With the win, the Rams improved to 13-1 overall and 11-0 in section play and, more importantly, clinched the WPIAL Section Championship for the second consecutive year! Ligonier Valley was led by Brock McKenzie, who posted a team-best 36. Also contributing to the team score were Rocco Harris with 41, Owen Smith with 42, Roman Simmons with 43, and Noah Knupp with 43. With the section title secured, Ligonier Valley has now captured back-to-back WPIAL Section Championships, continuing the strong tradition of Rams Boys’ Golf.
