The Ligonier Valley girls golf team picked up its first section victory of the season Wednesday, defeating Derry 233-255 in a section match. The Rams were led by Haley Robertson, who carded a team-best 47. Ruby Smith followed with a 54, while Sarah Skovira finished with a 63. Emma Moser rounded out the Rams' scoring with a 69. With the victory, the Rams improve to 1-3 overall and 1-3 in section play. The Lady Rams are back in action today as they travel to take on Deer Lakes.
