The Pendleton Heights Arabians represented very well at the IHSAA Shelbyville Regional on Saturday. Congratulations to senior Zack White for placing 15th overall with a time of 15:48.5. Junior Connor Weflen placed 27th overall with a career best time of 16:05.91. White was the 3rd individual on a non-qualifying team and Weflen was the 12th individual on a non-qualifying team, earning both runners a trip to the IHSAA State Meet next Saturday in Terre Haute at the LaVerne Gibson Cross Country Course. The boys' team did not advance as a team and placed 12th overall. Three of the five teams that will advance to the State Meet came out of the Noblesville Sectional. Other finishers for the boys: 117th Henry Corbin 125th Luke Sellers 142nd Thaxon Carpenter (season best time) 181st Ashton Smith 212th Ryder Engelhardt Anya Zoeller and Sadie Rauh represented PHHS for the girls at the IHSAA Shelbyville Regional. Zoeller was 2nd overall with a time of 17:35.71. Zoeller will join White and Weflen at the IHSAA State Finals next Saturday. Rauh placed 94th overall with a career best time of 20:30.49.
