What a glorious day for a golf tournament. The weather was outstanding for the County tournament at Grandview Golf Course. Our Lady Arabians didn't have the outcome we were hoping for but we did the best we could we were off by 6 or 7 shots. Finishing in 4th place with a team score of 390. Junior, Kiersten Dujmovich had a great round of 88. She played some smart golf, to help her to her personal best. Senior, Morgan Bricker had some trouble putting on the fast greens and carded a 100. Senior, Claire Bowman started off the day with a great putt from off the green on hole 10 for a par and shot 101. Senior, Olivia Haugh was hitting her drives well, and also shot 101. Junior, Ava Reed was our third player at 101, and this was better than her previous 18 hole round. The back nine seemed to be harder for all the girls. We are just having trouble getting 2 nines together. We didn't have ice cream, but we did have a nice lunch at the 1925 Pub to finish off the day. We have a few days before our next match on Thursday the 28th at home against Yorktown,(this is a schedule change, previously on Wednesday the 27th) So until then, practice, practice, practice!
