Pendleton Heights Girls Golf defeats New Castle on Monday, August 18th

The Lady Arabians hosted a dual match with New Castle. The weather was hot, but the girls played as twosomes and play moved along quickly. We played 6 varsity players and scoring only 4. PHHS came out on top with a team score of 198 to New Castles 208. Junior, Kiersten Dujmovich was medalist with a 42, hitting a long putt on hole 5 for a birdie. Senior, Morgan Bricker 49, hit her drive over the hill on 1, giving her an easy shot to the edge of the green, chipped up and 1 putt for par. Senior, Claire Bowman 53, had a birdie on hole 2. Senior, Olivia Haugh 54 had a par putt on hole 4,"only up from here". Junior, Ava Reed 57 sank a putt from off the green on hole 7. Sophomore, Ava Stafford 66, had a bomb of a drive on hole 3. The remaining girls played a practice round against each other. Senior, Tori Apo had a personal best of 59, hitting the green on number 2 and getting her first par was the highlight of the night. Freshman, Ella Williams a 63 and was hitting her driver better. Sophomore, Addison Fisher 70, met a personal goal with a 7 on hole 6. Junior, Lyla Holbert 70 finished her first round of 9 holes and is determined to master this game. Our next match is away, we travel to Tri County to play Shenandoah and Anderson in a 3 way match on Tuesday 8/19. Great job tonight ladies, I am proud of all of you. Live 2 Golf Love 2 Golf !!!!
