V Baseball: Mt. Vernon Recap 4/30/25

On Wednesday, the Arabians hosted the Mt. Vernon Marauders after having suffered their first loss of the season to them the night before. The Arabians regrouped and responded with a complete team victory to earn the series split and to maintain their conference lead. Ty Frakes was a perfect 4-4 at the plate to lead Pendleton Heights offensively. He doubled, scored a run, and knocked in two. Jordan Williamson went 2-3 with a walk, a run, and an RBI. Brandt Gray also recorded a multi-hit game going 2-3 with two runs scored. The Arabians as a team swiped nine stolen bases as well. On the mound, Jacob Garner turned in an excellent performance. He threw a complete game, seven innings pitched, to earn the win for the Arabians. He allowed three runs on six hits and struck out seven. He moves his record to 3-0 on the season. The Arabians move to 11-1 on the season and 7-1 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference standings, which, currently, has them in first place. The Arabians will be back in action on Friday as they host Lapel. The game will serve as the Madison County Championship, with first pitch at 5:30pm.
