April 25, 2025 | Carmel Showcase, Carmel High School It was a night full of 3200 races at Carmel last Friday. 18 separate heats were held at Carmel Stadium to crown the fastest 2-miler in the state in an annual preview for the IHSAA State meet. Pendleton Heights had four qualifiers race at the event. Girls Results Pendleton had two qualify for the top heat in the girls event: Freshman Anya Zoeller (one of just two freshman qualifiers for the championship heat) and defending Carmel Showcase and State 3200M champion Ava Jarrell. Zoeller ran the fastest freshman 3200M in Pendleton history and the 2nd fastest in Indiana State history, finishing in 5th place in 10:32.53. Jarrell finished one spot behind her in 6th with a time of 10:34.25. Congratulations, ladies! Boys Results Juniors Benson Davis and Zack White competed on the boys side. Davis and White both set outdoor personal bests, finishing with 9:33.0 and 9:50.86, respectively.
