A Tuesday night battle against Shelbyville saw the Arabians rally late for what would be a walk off win to keep their perfect season intact. After falling behind 3-0 in the first inning, the Arabians responded in the sixth inning to tie it up. After allowing the go-ahead in the top of the seventh, the Arabians plated two in the bottom half to secure the victory. Jackson Grile had good at-bats all night going 1-2 with a walk, two RBIs, and a run scored. His bases-loaded sacrifice fly in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the game-winning at bat. Jordan Williamson added a 1-3 night with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored. Brandt Gray and Colin Axel-Adans also added a hit a piece. Mazon Saxon earned two walks and scored two runs as well. Colton Frank started on the mound and pitched extremely well. He went five innings, no earned runs on four hits, while striking out six. Colin Axel-Adams came on in relief and would ultimately be credited with the win. He allowed one run in two innings of work on two hits. He struck out two as well. The Arabians are now 8-0 on the season and 5-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference. They will have a quick turnaround as they head to Shelbyville on Wednesday night for game two of the series.
