Baseball: Nick Muller Tournament at Frankton Recap

The Arabians headed to Frankton Tuesday night to take on the Eagles in the opening round of the Nick Muller, Madison County Tournament. They overcame some early miscues defensively and on the bases to come away with the 15-4 win. At the plate, Colton Frank led the way going 3-3 with five RBIs and two runs scored. Ty Frakes had a game offensively as well going 3-4 with two triples, three RBIs and two runs scored. Jackson Grile added a 3-3 night as well with three RBIs and three runs scored. Brayden Stevenson was the other Arabian hitter to add a multi-hit night going 2-3 with a BB and three RBIs. On the mound, Colton Frank went five innings pitched, allowed three earned runs on eight hits and struck out eight as he earned the win. Jameson Walford came in and pitched the final inning allowing no hits and no runs to finalize the victory. With the win, the Arabians move to 6-0 on the season and move on to the semi-final game in the Nick Muller Tournament to face Anderson. That game is scheduled for a 5:30pm start, Thursday night at Bill Stoudt Field. PH - 15 Runs, 13 Hits, 2 Errors Frankton - 4 runs, 8 hits, 4 errors
