Varsity The Lady Arabians closed their home schedule last night on Senior Night with an HHC Matchup against the Shelbyville Golden Bears. The Lady Arabians came out hot and did not let up. The Lady Arabians came out to a commanding lead with a 47-4 halftime lead. The Lady Arabians continued to keep their foot on the gas in the 2nd half and ended the game with a score of 74-13. The Lady Arabians were led in scoring by Kaycie Warfel with 21 points. Adah Hupfer had 16 points. Senior, Emma Roberts had a career night with 14 points. Olivia Jones had 6 points. Aubree Warfel had 5 points. Seniors Aubriana Gray and Brea Perry had 4 points. Avry Miller and Sophia Bruce rounded out the scoring with 2 a piece. Senior Kaycie Warfel continued her stellar career exceeding the 2000 point mark for her career as she continues to battle with a fellow senior in Madison County for the Girls County career scoring record that has been held for 20 years. The Lady Arabians will face off with the Noblesville Millers this Thursday, January 30, 2025 with a 7:30 tip in the Regular Season final before moving on to the Indiana State tournament and Sectional Number 9 hosted at Mt. Vernon. JV won 37-34 in a closely contested JV game.
