The Arabians bounced back tonight to beat the Frankton Eagles by double digits in the third-place game of the Madison County Tournament. The game stayed close in the first quarter, with the Arabians leading 11-9 after 8 minutes of game time. In the second quarter, PHHS extended their lead by holding the Eagles to 5 second-quarter points, and the Arabians went into halftime with a 23-14 lead. The third quarter stayed all even at 9 points apiece, until the Arabians turned it on in the fourth quarter, scoring 19 in the final frame on their way to a 51-34 victory. Cooper Sims led all scorers again with 17 points. The Arabians had their most balanced scoring output of the season, with 9 different players registering points in the scorebook. Evan Mozingo and Joe Estes each scored 8, with Mozingo adding 3 assists and 2 steals and Estes grabbing 4 boards, all on the offensive end. Brandt Gray scored 5, and Ashann Singh scored 4 while grabbing 5 steals and 3 offensive rebounds. Hayden Fox hit a big three-pointer for the Arabians, adding 3 steals and 2 assists. Isaac Weaver, Sam Baker, and Wyatt Elijah all scored 2 points as well. The Arabians have now won 4 of their last 5 games as they head into a pair of big conference games this weekend. Pendleton Heights will go on the road to New Palestine on Friday night, and then return home this Saturday to host Shelbyville.
