Girls Golf: Sectional Recap

PHHS traveled to Harbour Trees today and played in the Sectional tournament. The weather continued to be good for the golfers. It was overcast and cool, but no rain. We teed off at 9am. The Arabians finished in 5th place out of 11, with a team score of 394. Senior, Leila Reef had a tough front nine 57, but really turned it around on the back nine with a 47. Leila secured that 47 with a chip in par on hole 18. Great job Leila. Senior, Addison Summer had a really hard day, this happens sometimes, we don't know why and can't figure it out before the round is over. You did the best you could today and that is all I every expect. Love you and your Millennium Falcon. Senior, Zoe Lawrence had two pars today with a nice 48 on the front and the back for 96. Junior, Morgan Bricker had four pars today, two on the front nine and two on the back nine. Morgan's front nine was higher that she wanted with a 54. Morgan did better on the back nine with a 49, bringing her total to 103, just 3 strokes higher than her goal for the day. Almost Morgan, you will get it next year. Last but not least, Freshman, Bella Shetterley had two pars on the day and one birdie for a score of 91, earning her the low medalist spot on the team. Not only was she low medalist for the Arabians, she also played well enough to advance on to the Regionals. Great Job Bella! We are all excited to see what you can do at Regionals this Saturday, 9am at The Edge Golf Club. We did not celebrate with ice cream today, instead we had a very late lunch at Wolfies! Nice Job today Ladies, it was a great season. LIVE 2 GOLF - LOVE 2 GOLF Coach Slick
