Knock on wood the weather was really good again!. The Arabians traveled to our sectional course, Harbour Trees, to take on Noblesville and Kokomo. This is a very tough course for the girls, but the condition of the course is amazing. We should have played a little better than we did. I think the girls are always nervous to play there because it is our sectional course. The Lady Millers took home first place tonight with a 173, PHHS second with 206 and Kokomo third with 239. Two seniors, Addison Summerall and Zoe Lawrence, were Pendletons medalists with 49 a piece. Proud of Addison for bouncing back after a really rough start and parring both of the difficult par three's on the front 9. Junior, Morgan Bricker, added a 53 and Freshman, Bella Shetterley a 55. Junior Olivia Haugh and Sophomore Kiersten Dujmovich all shot 55. Senior Leila Reef couldn't seem to find her groove and shot 64. Junior, Claire Bowman was our final score for the evening with a 58. Our goal for sectional will to do better than 412 as a team. Hopefully this practice round opened their eyes on what to expect. The girls twisted my arm and we went to drown our sorrows at Chick-fil-A. Most got something to eat, and all got ice cream. Our next match is this Thursday and is also Senior Night.
