Ava Jarrell completed her successful junior season on top of the IHSAA State Championship podium for the 3200m Run. Jarrell paced herself the majority of the race running in the top 3 the entire time. After 2400m, Ava made her move, closing the gap then overtook the lead for good for the final 400m. Jarrell not only claimed the state championship but also set a new PR with her 10:10.05 time, which breaks her own school record set earlier this year. Jarrell joins Alex Buck (3200m Run) and 2-time champion Ellie McCardwell (pole vault) as Arabian Girls Track state champions.
