Arabians Can’t Overcome Early Deficit in Loss to Richmond

By Michael Smith | May 24, 2024 2:22 PM

The Arabians found themselves in an early hole and couldn’t climb out Monday night. A second inning that saw Richmond plate five runs was enough and the Arabians fell by a final of 5-2. Offensively, Jordan Williamson and Ty Frakes each had two-hit nights. Brayden Stevenson, Rylan Keesling, and Colin Axel-Adams added hits as well. On the mound, Jameson Walford got the start and gave up three three earned runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out two. Landon Oler relieved him and threw a very effective final 2.1 innings. He allowed no runs on no hits while striking out two. The Arabians will look to bounce back against Delta on Tuesday night. First pitch is scheduled for 6pm.
