Arabian Baseball Claims County Championship By Defeating Alexandria Due to weather pushing back the championship game multiple weeks, the Arabians had to wait to face off against Alexandria for the county crown. On Friday, they were finally able to square off against one another and the Arabians prevailed for a 10-1 win which secured them the Nick Muller Madison County championship. Offensively, Colton Frank led the charge on the day going 2-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Rylan Keesling went 1-2 with two walks and two RBIs. Clint Miller went 1-3 with a walk, an RBI, and two runs scored. Ty Frakes and Jordan Williamson each added a double on the day and Colin Axel-Adams laced a triple. On the mound, Brayden Stevenson went 5.2 innings pitched in a dominant performance. He surrendered one run on three hits and one walk while striking out twelve. Landon Oler came on in relief and allowed no runs on no hits and struck out one to secure the win. The win elevates the Arabians record to 15-7 on the year. They will have the weekend off before traveling to Richmond on Monday. The game will be played at McBride Stadium with first pitch scheduled for 6:00pm.
