Arabians Handle Business On the Road At Shenandoah

Eight different Arabians earned a hit, eight different Arabians stole at least one base, every starter reached base at least once, and the Arabians scored in every inning as they cruised to a 13-1 victory on the road at Shenandoah. Offensively, Bo Surface led the charge going 2-4 on the night with two runs scored and two RBIs. He unloaded on a pitch in the third inning for a two-run home run as well. He tacked on two stolen bases for good measure. Ty Frakes also turned in a two-hit game going 2-3 with two runs, an RBI, a HBP, and two stolen bases. Three Arabian pitchers combined for the quality performance on Friday. Jacob Garner went the first two innings. He allowed four hits and one earned run while striking out three. Jameson Walford relieved Jacob and allowed no runs on no hits and struck out two over 2.1 innings of work. Caden Sims closed out the final 1.2 innings allowing no runs on no hits and striking out three. The Arabians will be off until Tuesday evening when they travel to New Palestine for the first of a two-game conference series against the Dragons. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00pm.
