Varsity vs Mt Vernon High School (Fortville) (1 - 2) Loss Arabians Drop Back to Back Games for the First Time in Loss To Marauders Despite out hitting the Marauders and making fewer errors, the Arabians fell victim to Mt. Vernon for the second straight day by the score of 2-1. The loss marked the first time this season that the Arabians have dropped back-to-back games. Offensively, Mazon Saxon led the way going 2-3 on the day. Bo Surface went 1-3 with a stolen base and scored the lone Arabian run. Jordan Williamson and Ty Frakes each added a hit as well. Colton Frank suffered a tough luck loss after giving a stellar performance on the mound. Frank allowed a runner past first base in only two of the seven innings. He went the distance and allowed only two runs on three hits while striking out five. It was a tough two game stretch for the Arabians but they will have an opportunity on Saturday to get back in the win column. They will travel to Lafayette Jeff to take on the Bronchos for two games. The games will take place at Loeb Stadium with the first pitch scheduled for 11:00am.
