Arabians Handle Business Against Anderson The second time through the lineup saw the Arabians open up a lead from which Anderson could never recover. Contributions from up and down the lineup and a great start on the mound proved to be too much for the Indians. Three different Arabians recorded multi-hit games. Mazon Saxon went 2-4 on the day with an RBI and two runs scored. Brayden Stevenson went 2-5 with a run scored. Jordan Williamson went 3-4 with an RBI and run scored. He reached base a fourth time as well having been hit by a pitch. On the mound, Brayden Stevenson turned in a stellar start. Over his four innings, he allowed no runs on no hits and struck out ten as he earned the win. Landon Oler relieved Brayden and went two innings. He allowed one run on one hit. Aiden Davis closed out the game in the seventh giving up a run on two hits. The win secures the Arabians a spot in the finals of the Nick Muller Madison County Tournament. Due to the weather this week, a championship date has yet to be determined. The Arabians will face off against Alexandria at later date. As of now, the Arabians will next be in action Tuesday, April 16 as they travel to Shelbyville for a 6:00pm start against the Golden Bears.
