The Arabians had their chances in game one of a Saturday double-header with the Yorktown Tigers, but left eleven men on base leading to a 2-0 loss. The offensive struggles squandered an excellent start from Colton Frank on the mound. Colton Frank pitched six solid innings giving up only one earned run on four hits. He walked three and struck out nine. Jameson Walford pitched the seventh inning to close out the game. Colton Frank earned the tough luck loss, dropping his record to 1-1 on the year. At the plate, Jordan Williamson led the charge going 3-4 on the day with a single, double, and an HBP. Bo Surface also reached base safely three times on the day. The loss drops the Arabians to 4-2 on the season and 2-1 in conference play. The Arabians will turn right around for game two and look to salvage the split in the conference series.
