Muncie, IN – The Pendleton Heights girls’ track team placed 2nd of 8 teams at the Muncie Burris Owl Invitational at Ball State’s track on Saturday, finishing just 8.5 points behind champion New Haven. The Arabians won 5 individual events: Senior Jaycee Thurman took first in the 1600 and 3200M races while Freshman Maddie Pfister won both the High Jump and the Long Jump, and Junior Ava Jarrell set a new school record winning the 800M race in 2:15.31. 12 Athletes scored for the Arabians, with 8 new PRs.
