The start of the IHSAA Boys Basketball Tournament is set to start in the last week of February and conclude in March at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Pendleton Heights will compete in IHSAA Boys Basketball Sectional #9 at Greenfield-Central. Details for the boys basketball sectional can be found below. Participants: Anderson, Greenfield-Central, Mt. Vernon, Muncie Central, New Palestine, Pendleton Heights, and Richmond Sectional Schedule: Session 1: Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 7:00 pm Session 2: Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 3: Friday, March 1, 2024 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 4: Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 7:30 pm Tickets: All-Session Passes will cost $15.00 and the Single Session tickets will cost $7.00 per person (Grade K+). Overflow parking will be available in the softball parking lot (north of the football stadium), There will be shuttle service from the overflow lot on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Additional parking can be found on the west side of the building by the cafeteria loading area. Entry: Spectators should enter doors #1, #7 or #29/30. Due to construction, spectators will not be able to enter at the normal gym entry. Please use the listed doors to enter for this tournament. Seating: Each team playing will have a section of bleachers marked with a sign. Seating will be general admission within each section. Home Team: The home team is the bottom team in the bracket. The home team shall have the choice of the bench except when playing Greenfield-Central. Restrictions: Spectators should be aware of the following IHSAA restrictions for this tournament. A. No publications, brochures, fliers, etc. of any kind, are to be distributed B. Balloons, banners, signs, and/or posters, etc. are not permitted. C. Cowbells, thunder sticks, shakers on sticks and other such noisemakers are not permitted. D. Live animal mascots are not permitted. E. “Line-up” lanes of fans are not permitted on the playing floor at any time. F. Audio/video devices are not permitted on the playing floor. G. Throwing items either in the stands or on the floor will not be permitted. Advancement: The sectional winner will advance to the IHSAA Regional on March 9, 2024.
