The Lady Arabians season came to an end with a 46-44 loss to New Palestine in the sectional semi-finals. The Arabians struggled to find a rhythm offensively, but there defense kept the Lady Arabians in striking distance. The Dragons were not going to let Adah Hupfer get going and at times were triple teaming her in the post. Kaycie Warfel led the Arabians in scoring once again, but unfortunately fouled out of the game early in the 4th quarter. With Kayice fouling out, Coach Rogers had to turn to the bench to finish the game. Mamie Trout, who has been a consistent role player all year seized her moment as time was winding down. With under 2 minutes left in the game Mamie stuck a three point shot from the wing to bring the Arabians within one point. The Arabians trying to extend the game fouled the Dragons sending them to the free throw line. The Dragons went 1 of 2 giving the dragons a one point lead. Mamie once again answered the call with a right hand drive through contact, banking in the game tying shot with under 15 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately for the Arabians, they fouled the Dragons again on the next possession of the game. The dragons hit both free throws with just 8 seconds left in the game. The Arabians were unable to get a great shot off at the buzzer.
