The Lady Arabians season came to an end with a tough 46-44 loss to New Palestine in the sectional semi-finals. The Lady Arabians struggled to find a rhythm offensively early, but their defense kept them in striking distance all night. Kaycie Warfel led the Arabians in scoring, but fouled out early in the 4th quarter. The Lady Arabians had to go to the bench to stay in the game and Sophomore Maime Trout stepped up to give the team a chance. As time was winding down Mamie hit a huge three to bring the Arabians within 1 with under a minute to go. After a made free throw by New Palestine, Maime again hit a big shot by driving the lane and banking in a shot to tie the game with just 10 seconds left. New Palestine was able to draw a foul and sink free throws with just a few seconds left to seal the won.
