Pendleton Heights is proud to host the IHSAA Girls Basketball Sectional #9 and looks forward to greeting all of our visitors from the competing schools. Details for the girls basketball sectional can be found below. Participants: Anderson, Greenfield-Central, Mt. Vernon, Muncie Central, New Palestine, Pendleton Heights, and Richmond Sectional Schedule: Session 1: Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 7:00 pm Session 2: Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 3: Friday, February 2, 2024 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 4: Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 7:30 pm Tickets: All-Session Passes will cost $15.00 and the Single Session tickets will cost $7.00 per person (Grade K+). Vernon vs New Palestine, 7:30 pm Parking: Spectators can park in the North Lot and the adjacent tennis lot on the north side. Entry: Spectators should enter Door 3N marked for spectators. Seating: Each team playing will have a section of bleachers marked with a sign. Seating will be general admission within each section. School administrators should help monitor your team’s section. Spectators should view the attached seating map. For Saturday's championship game, spectators should sit in the following areas: Mt. Vernon - North end of the gym (both sides of the court) New Palestine - South end of the gym (both sides of the court) Home Team: The home team is the bottom team in the bracket. The home team shall have the choice of the bench except when playing Pendleton Heights. Pendleton Heights will always use the south bench. Restrictions: Balloons; signs/banners; artificial noise makers; live animals; large bags; athletic balls/equipment Advancement: The sectional winner will advance to the IHSAA Regional on February 10, 2024.
