Pendleton Heights is proud to host the IHSAA Volleyball Sectional #9 and looks forward to all of our visitors from the competing schools. Details for the volleyball sectional can be found below. Participants: Anderson, Greenfield-Central, Mt. Vernon, Muncie Central, New Palestine, Pendleton Heights, Richmond, and Yorktown. Sectional Schedule: Session 1: Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 2: Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 6:00 pm | 7:30 pm Session 3: Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00 am | 11:30 am Session 4: Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 6:00 pm Tickets: All-Session Passes will cost $15.00 and the Single Session tickets will cost $7.00 per person (Grade K+). Vernon vs Muncie Central, 6:00 pm Parking: Spectators can park in the North Lot and will enter Door 3N. Entry: Spectators should enter Door 3N marked for spectators. Seating: Each team playing will have a section of bleachers marked with a sign. Seating will be general admission within each section. School administrators should help monitor your team’s section. For Saturday semi-final matches, spectators should sit in the following areas: Yorktown - SW section (across from visitor bench) Muncie Central - NE section (behind home bench) New Palestine - SE section (behind visitor bench) Mt. Vernon - NW section (across from home bench) Home Team: The home team is the bottom team in the bracket. The home team shall have the choice of the bench except when playing Pendleton Heights. Pendleton Heights will always use the south bench. Restrictions: Balloons; signs/banners; artificial noise makers; live animals; large bags; athletic balls/equipment Advancement: The sectional winner will advance to the IHSAA Regional on 10/21/23 at Greenfield-Central High School.
