Pendleton Heights girls track & field delivered a dominant performance at the Madison County Championships, securing the county title behind an outstanding all-around effort. The Arabians were led by Addison Stanley, who captured three individual county championships in the 100, 200, and 400-meter dashes. Maddy Pfister added a runner-up finish in the 100-meter dash and a first-place finish in the pole vault, while Sophia Bruce placed second in the 200-meter dash and earned a county title in the long jump. Jaelyn Ledbetter also contributed with a third-place finish in the 400-meter dash. The distance group played a key role in the championship effort, led by Anya Zoeller, who won both the 800 and 3200-meter runs while also placing second in the 1600-meter run. Sadie Rauh added a county title in the 1600-meter run and a second-place finish in the 800-meter run, while Jada McGraw secured a fifth-place finish in the 3200-meter run. Pendleton Heights also dominated the hurdles and field events, as Grace Lee swept both hurdle events with first-place finishes in the 100 and 300-meter hurdles. Grace Lee's younger sister Justus Ellis added a first-place finish in the high jump and fourth in the 300-meter hurdles, while Keira Johns placed fifth in the 100-meter hurdles and fourth in the pole vault. In the throwing events, Shaelynn Dwyer placed fourth in the discus, and Emily Moore added two fifth-place finishes in the discus and shot put. The Arabians’ success carried into the relays, where they captured county championships in both the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, while also placing second in the 4x800 relay. With contributions across every event group, Pendleton Heights secured a commanding team victory and showcased the strength of the program from top to bottom.
