Tonight was the final match of the season before sectionals. The Lady Arabians took on the Marauders of Mt. Vernon at Fall Creek. We played a Varsity and JV match tonight to end the season. The season did not end they way we intended. Lady Arabians did not play as well tonight as the previous night, but I am very proud of the 3 girls the had the opportunity to play varsity tonight. The Varsity had a score of 195 to the MV's 174. Medalist for the Arabians was Senior, Kelsey Day with a 46. Her well known cohort and partner in crime, Senior, Skylar Baldwin followed close behind with a 48. Junior Kaylee Smith shot a solid 50. Sophomore, Morgan Bricker played #4 and shot 51 and Sophomore, Olivia Haugh shot a 55. Good Job Ladies. The JV also fell just short during their match with the Arabians 207 and the Marauders a 203. Medalist for the Arabians was Sophomre, Claire Bowman with a nice solid round of 48. Junior, Zoe Lawrence was next with a 50. Junior, Leila Reef turned in a 54 and right behind her was Freshman, Kiersten Dujmovich with a 55. We got to have an additional player for fun in Bella Shetterley ,whom we will have on the team next year, shot a 56. The girls didn't play as well as they all did last night, but i will say it again... Golf is a Fickle friend and it's a game of if's... Still proud of the girls and the great attitudes they have even when they don't play so well. Good Job Ladies. Sectional is next Monday @ Harbour Trees, a really tough course for the girls.
