In my opinion the weather was perfect for the golf match tonight at Fall Creek, between the Arabians and the Frankton Eagles. Frankton brought 11 players, so we again had a Varsity, played 6 counted 4 and JV match, played 5 counted 4. Wow!!! what a night we had! I'm not sure what was so different about tonight over last night, but I must say I hope it all continues. The Arabians brought their A+ game tonight. The best score for 9 holes all season. Medalist for the Varsity match was the dastardly duo of Seniors, Kelsey Day and Skylar Baldwin who started the team off with a pair of 40's. Senior, Audrey Jenkins was right there with a 41. Audrey was on a roll with a string of 5 pars in a row. Junior, Addison Summerall had back to back birdies on holes 4 and 5 to make her mark with a 43. Senior Addie Nichols had a nice round of 46. Junior, Zoe Lawrence didn't play as well tonight, it was just an off night, as she had a 53. The Arabians had a team score of 164 and the Eagles a 203. This is the team I knew I had all season, I was just waiting for them to show up. I'd like this team to stick around for tomorrow's match against Mt. Vernon and for Mondays Sectional match. Not to be out done by the varsity, Our JV team also came away with a victory. PH 191 Frankton 245. Medalist for the JV was Junior, Kaylee Smith with a personal best of 45. Great round Kaylee! She was followed by Sophomore, Morgan Bricker with a 47. Sophomore, Olivia Haugh came in with a 49. Junior, Leila Reef had a good round of 50. Sophomore, Claire Bowman had trouble with a couple of holes, but managed a 52 and finishing off the scores was Freshman, Kiersten Dujmovich with a 54. A fickle sport golf is.... Last night in the varsity match vs. New Pal our best score was 46. Tonight we did so well, we threw out a 46. Last night in the JV match our best score was a 54. Tonight we had 3 players under 50 and didn't use the 54 in scoring. High note for the JV... Their score tonight, beat the varsity's score last night. Oh what a difference a day makes. Great Job Ladies and It was a Great win. Tomorrow's match is home against Mt. Vernon, start time is 3:30. Bring that A+ game again. LIVE2GOLF LOVE2GOLF.....PHHS BLEED GREEN
