The Lady Arabians traveled to take on the New Pal Dragons at the Links tonight. We were able to have a varsity and JV match tonight. The varsity Arabians 196 fell to the Dragons 172. Medalist for the Arabians was Senior, Skylar Baldwin with a 46. Great score for Skylar who is having some shoulder trouble. Senior, Kelsey Day had the toughest round with a 52. One hole got her, where she found the woods and just couldn't recover.Senior, Audrey Jenkins came in with a 49.Senior Addie Nichols had a 51, but also had a great birdie on the par 3 #12. Junior, Zoe Lawrence had a 51 and Junior, Addison Summerall turned in a 50 for the final varsity score. The Arabians, JV team had their first JV match. Medalist for the Arabians was Sophomore, Olivia Haugh with a 54. Great job Olivia. Next was Freshman, Kiersten Dujmovich with a 56. Kiersten had her first par in a match on hole #14. Kierstens putting is improving at every match and it shows. Sophomore, Morgan Bricker had a 59. Junior Leila Reef and Sophomore, Claire Bowman both scored 60. Final score for the Arabians was Junior, Kaylee Smith with a 61. The JV team score of 229, wasn't enough to overtake the Dragons 203. The girls again did their best and I am proud of them for that. We intended to drown our sorrows at Frosty Boy, but the line was too long and it was getting late. We ended up stopping by Jimmies again for our ice cream.
