It was a rough night for the Lady Arabians. Thought it was our year to win this one. The girls didn't start out so hot. Had a lot of out of bound balls. Off the top of my head I counted 8 OB. That is 2 strokes for each out of bounds, a total of 16 lost strokes. That really hurts the score. The girls still held their heads up high and finished their rounds. Senior, Skylar Baldwin had a 47 along with fellow Senior, Audrey Jenkins. Junior, Zoe Lawrence turned in a 49. Junior Addison Summerall carded a 52 and Senior, Kelsey Day a 53. On a positive note, Senior, Skylar Baldwin did birdie hole #9. Great birdie Sky. The scores and outcome weren't what we wanted. PHHS 195, Lapel 180 and HC with the win at 179. Golf is definitely a game of if's. If you take away our 16 OB strokes, we would have scored 179 also. There you have it the game of golf. Tomorrow is a new day ladies.....Game On!! Our next match is at home and Senior Night against Greenfield at Fall Creek. Start time is 5:00pm. We drowned our sorrows by having ice cream at Jimmy's Dairy Bar tonight.
