Varsity Arabians Improve to Three and Zero, Remain Frame Unblemished Isaac Wilson capped off a 65 yard drive with a precise pitch and catch to Caden Sims. The Dom Apo kick was good. Apo added two field goals and was four for four on extras on the night. The Arabian offense moved the ball all night. The Arabian defense stifled the Trojan ground and air attack. The Trojan ground game was corralled by the front that included Eli Libler, Bryant Davis, Garret Pederson, and Jacob McKinley. The front accounted for five sacks, three pressures, two quarterback hits, and a caused fumble. The backers added a second layer of insurance. The group including sophomore Ryland Keesling and seniors Dresden Roberts, Eli Arthur, and Nick Trout accounted for sacks, pressures, big hits, and a pass break up. The last layer of the defense stole the show-and the ball. Totalling five interceptions before having a 99 yard score brought back for a penalty, Nolan Souders accounted for two picks and a score while Sam Rhea and Clint Miller both accounted for a takeaway apiece. Several Arabian drives began in Trojan territory leading to perfect opportunities for Wilson to run and pass. The run saw Keaton Jones with a quick and powerful score. Wilson called his own number for the other. The passing touchdown balance was issued to Nate DeRolf who scampered down the sideline breaking several tackles. In all, the Arabian offense eclipsed 300 yards behind the work of offensive line corps Nate Walls, Peyton Pollock, Jacob McKinley, Gabe Martin, Reis Schnepp, and Luke Graham. and the defense held the shutout. It was not always pretty, but it was an overall dominating performance. Your Arabians move to one and zero in conference play with a 40 to zero win.
