We had amazing weather for our three way match with Delta and Yorktown. We traveled to Delta's home course, the Albany Golf Club. The course is in wonderful shape and the girls played the ball down tonight. We were able to take 7 players tonight, and some new faces were in the top 5. Senior, Skylar Baldwin had a bogey round of 45, but played the par 5's well, coming away with one birdie and an eagle on hole 18. Skylar was medalist for the Arabians. Senior, Kelsey Day handed in a decent 47. She would have scored much better if she hadn't struggled on the par 5, 17th, where she had to take a 9 due to some tree issues. Junior Zoe Lawrence turned in a 51. Junior Kaylee Smith had her debut golf match, shooting a 52 with a birdie on the par 5, 17th. Not bad for a first match. Also having her debut varsity match, was Sophomore, Claire Bowman with a 59. I think she was nervous for her first match. Our #6 player was Sophomore, Olivia Haugh who surprised me with a nice round of 49. Our #7 player was Freshman, Kiersten Dujmovich turning in a 65. Not her best round, but the experience of playing against another school was good for her as she learned a lot about etiquette. Our Lady Arabians fell to Delta, by 8 strokes but beat Yorktown. The scores were as follows, PHHS 195, Delta 187 and Yorktown 220. Great Job all around tonight. Our next match is away at The Edge where we will have a three way match with Lapel and Heritage Christian. Live2Golf Love2Golf...Bleed Green
