The PHHS Girls Cross Country team competed at the Orioles Hokum Karem hosted by Avon High School on Saturday, Aug. 26th. The Lady Arabians placed 4th overall out of 7 complete team with a score of 35. The Arabians were led by the pair of Ava Jarrell and Hadley Walker placing 3rd overall with a combined time of 35:24.99 for three miles. Jarrell averaged 5:22 per mile (:44 seconds/mile faster than last year) and H. Walker averaged 6:23/mile (:02 faster than last year). The pair from Bishop Chatard, Julia Score & Ceci Jackson was the overall winner with a combined time of 34:05.
