PHHS Arabians improve to two-and-zero (2-0) vs. Anderson High School: Arabians score and prevent scores. Senior quarterback Isaac Wilson led the Arabians as he caught four and threw for a dozen. The dynamic duo of Wilson and Colton Frank at quarterback led the clad-in-white visitors to a substantial victory. The scoring began on a drive initialized by kick returner Clint Miller; it was finalized on the frame by Isaac Wilson on an old school sweep that would have made any Madison Heights Pirates fan nostalgia–Joe Buck approved. After an initial defensive stand, the Arabians, Wilson scored again. This time a sweep to the other side. Exhibiting all the skills, Caden Sims once again revealed he only needs one hand to break down a defender. The one-handed seven-yard touchdown reception made the score fourteen to zero after a Dom “The Bomb” Apo conversion. Apo would convert on a seven of seven rate on the night. The fourth score on the night came off the quarterback and running back exchange between Wilson and Keaton Jones. Jones took the romp for seven yards and the score. Drake Stevens was statistically welcomed back to football by receiving a Wilson throw-and-catch for 32 yards. This reception followed a drive in which Stevens made a crushing block on an Anderson defender. Just rewards. The next Arabian Score came on a deep-inside-the-twenty punt of the Indians. Nolan Souders, who added a pick, blocked the Anderson punt. The blocked punt fell in the basket of Nick Trout who ambled in for the score. The final score was later added by Bo Surface. Surface of Indiana high school and college football fame, found paydirt on an once-again electrifying run. Dom Apo provided a touchback and a seven-of-seven extra-point performance. Tackles amassed by Arabians like Eli Libler, Garrett Pederson, Dresden Roberts, Bryant Davis, and Ryland Keesling-who also added a 19 yard fumble recovery. Souders added an interception to his career tally while Miller added to his already mounting season totals on interceptions. Davis had the Arabians’s only sack and provided a spark in the second half. Catches by Arabian receivers Reese Reddington, DeRolf, and Wilson extended drives and harbored a sense of confidence for the game. In all, the herd-in-white was exceptional on this occasion. It wasn’t perfect, but it was a great follow up to the game one performance.
