The Junior Varsity Lady Arabians excelled in their game over the Yorktown Tigers winning 57 to 9. The team was sound on the defensive end, and did an excellent job moving the ball around looking for those open shooters. Each player on JV found a way to score. Sadie Rauh led the team with 9 points, Justus Ellis with 7, Anya Zoeller, and Mallory Schug with 6. Scoring 5 points was Olivia Myers, Macy Hufford, and Aaliyah Smitherman. Sisters Zy Larry and Jada McGraw added 4 each alongside Amari Boyd and Leni Rauh hit a big 3 in the 3rd quarter. With Sami Brunk also out with a hand injury, sophomore Sophia Bruce looked to lead the Lady Arabians as the primary ball handler. The Lady Arabians had their foot on the gas in the first quarter leading Yorktown 16-4 and headed into the locker room at half with a score of 34 to 16. Stepping back onto the court, the Lady Arabians put up 22 points and added another 15 in the fourth quarter to end the game 71 to 43. Adah Hupfer led the Arabians with 27 points followed by Aubree Warfel with 11, Olivia Jones and Ellie Warfel both with 10, Grace Lee with 5, and both Mamie Trout and Sophia Bruce adding 4 each.
