Pendleton Heights (#9) faced off against Hamilton Southeastern (#7) in what proved to be a memorable top-ten showdown in the Class 4A rankings. The Lady Arabians rose to the occasion, securing an impressive 49–44 victory over one of the state’s toughest opponents. HSE jumped out to a lead in the first quarter, but not without a spark from Aubree Warfel, who knocked down two three-pointers and drew a crucial charge to keep the Arabians in the race. Pendleton Heights’ defense set the tone in the second quarter, holding the Royals to just 8 points while finding their rhythm offensively to take a narrow lead into halftime. The Lady Arabians continued their disciplined play in the third. Their defensive pressure remained relentless, limiting Hamilton Southeastern to only 5 points in the period. Offensively, Ellie Warfel, Olivia Jones, Aubree Warfel, and Adah Hupfer contributed points to maintain momentum. In the fourth, Pendleton Heights showed grit and composure, battling on every possession to secure the win.
