The Lady Arabians faced another tough matchup against Brownsburg at the annual Sneakers for Santa event hosted by Brownsburg High School. Despite struggling to find momentum against the Bulldogs’ intense defensive pressure, Pendleton Heights continued to battle and found ways to put points on the board. Justus Ellis led the Arabians with 9 points, followed by point guard Anya Zoeller with 7 and Mallory Schug with 5. Despite keeping the pedal down for all four quarters, the Arabians struggled to contain the Bulldogs’ lethal three-point shooting. After a gritty first half that ended tied at 35, Pendleton Heights ultimately fell to Brownsburg 78–58. Adah Hupfer continued her dominant season, keeping her double-double streak alive with 18 points and 15 rebounds. Mamie Trout followed with 11 points, while Grace Lee came off the bench to spark the team with 8 points and high-energy play. Ellie Warfel added 7, and Olivia Jones, Aubree Warfel, and Sophia Bruce each contributed offensively as well. A. Warfel also set the tone defensively with a big charge early on. Even in an aggressively physical matchup, the Arabians found flashes of momentum, finishing the game with 10 deflections, 6 steals, and 13 assists. Pendleton Heights will have just one day to regroup before taking on another tough opponent, Indianapolis Bishop Chatard, on Monday, November 24th at 7:30 PM. After that, the Arabians will get a much-needed break to reset before another HHC matchup against Mount Vernon on December 6th.
