Adcock and Rollins inducted in North Hall of Fame

At halftime of the North vs Reitz football, North Athletics officially inducted Brian Adcock and Allie Rollins into the Hall of Fame. Brian Adcock- Class of 1986 While still in high school, Brian was selected to the 1985 United States National U-16 Soccer Team. The national squad traveled to Paris (France), Bombay (India), and Beijing (China) where they competed against some of the world's greatest soccer talent. While in China, Brian played in front of 80,000 people at the FIFA U-16 World Tournament (Kodak Cup). In addition, Brian was invited to attend the National Soccer Camp at the United States Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO. He was the first high school player ever selected to receive this prestigious appointment. Brian was chosen as Gatorade's Indiana High School Soccer "Player of the Year"; this event was America's first indoor high school soccer All-Star game. During his high school career, Brian was the first freshman to earn a starting position. In 1985, he was chosen to play for the Evansville Pizza Hut travel team and was chosen to the USA National team. In addition, Brian was selected to the Indiana State Team, the regional Pool of 50, and the National Pool team of 30. As a Husky, Brian won All-City (second team) honors and All-City and All-State team selections as a senior in addition to his Gatorade Award and traveling abroad with the World Cup team. A long list of premier colleges (Indiana University, Duke University, UCLA, and others) began recruiting Brian. Ultimately, he chose to play for the University of Evansville, which was ranked #1 in the nation and was a two-time Final Four qualifier. Brian was a four-year starter for the Aces and won numerous awards during his senior year. He was chosen to the MCC All-Conference team and was voted "The Most Dedicated Award" by his teammates in 1989. That year, he was the Ace's third leading scorer. During his collegiate career, the University of Evansville gained Top Ten rankings each year. After his playing days passed, Brian coached at Castle H.S. and North H.S. During his time as a coach at Castle, Brian helped guide the Knights to the 1999 State runner-up title and the 2000 State Championship. Currently, Brian resides in Evansville with his wife Christie, and their three children. Allison Rollins- Class of 2014 Allie was a three-sport standout for the Huskies: cross country, swimming, and track. She was a three-time state finalist in cross country and was selected to the 2011 IHSAA All-State Team (Honorable Mention) as a freshman. That year, Allie placed second in the City, SIAC, Sectional, Regional, and Semi-State Championships. At the IHSAA State Finals, Allie placed twenty-seventh, which is the second-best place in Husky history. As a sophomore, Allie won the 2012 City championship and was third at regionals. In 2013, she was crowned the City Champion again and placed second at Sectionals and Regionals. As a senior, she placed third at the Sectional and fifth at Regionals. Along the way, Allie set several course records. As a swimmer, Allie set many new records as a Husky. She set new standards in the 100 breaststroke, 500 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay, and the 200 medley relay. Allie competed in six different events during her three years on the swim team. In the spring, Allie once again began training for track. She set track records in the 800m run, 1600m run, and was a vital member of the 3200m relay. During her four years at North, Allie earned eleven varsity letters, set numerous course records, and set eight school records. Upon entering the University of Southern Indiana, Allie focused on running cross country, indoor track and outdoor track. She competed for three years while pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. The cross country team won three GLVC Team Championships (2015, 2016, 2017), and Allie placed ninth as an individual in 2017.The 2017 team placed fifth in the NCAA II Championship meet. Upon graduating college, Allie began working as a nurse, and has started a family.
