Crown Point High School Athletics

The Dogs are State-Bound after finishing 3rd at the New Prairie Regional (Top 5 advance) with 140 points! Racing short-handed after losing Jackson Barnes early in the season, the guys put together their best race of the season, earning their way back to the State Meet after narrowly missing last year under the tougher 2023 realignment. Leading the charge was Senior Jake Metzger (10th – 15:59) to earn All-Regional honors, followed by Junior Jackson Zona (24th – 16:25) and Junior Dylan Ryder (37th – 16:51). Senior Evan Kearns (39th – 16:52) and Sophomore Kuba Nurek (47th – 17:02) closed hard to round out the scoring five, helping the squad post a 16:38 team average-a massive jump from their 17:02 earlier this season at New Prairie.
