Crown Point High School Athletics

Crown Point traveled to face Illiana Christian on September 30, 2025, but came away with a tough 3-0 defeat. Illiana Christian struck early and added two more in the second half, putting away the contest by capitalizing on their opportunities. The Bulldogs, however, had several opportunities to score, but could not find the back of the net. Crown Point’s senior goalkeeper Edward Sundblad recorded several saves, but ultimately couldn’t keep the Vikings off the scoreboard. The loss dropped Crown Point’s record to 7-5-3 overall and halted their momentum after going 8 games unbeaten. Looking ahead, Crown Point will regroup as they prepare for their sectional matchup against Lowell at Kankakee Valley High School.
