Crown Point High School Athletics

The Lady Bulldogs traveled to the town just south of us and came up with the title. They were able to pack four runners in the top 10 of the race to secure the victory. Sophia Brezden led Crown Point, crossing the line in 5th place with a near season best time of 19:49. Mia Sargent (6th) and Everly Pycraft (8th) were hot on her heels, with Genevieve St Clair edging out two runners from Demotte Christian to get a medal for top 10 overall. Elizabeth Wartman (24th) rounded out the scoring with a season best time. The second title of the day went to the reserve group, who swept the top 5 in their race and scored a perfect score of 15 to capture the reserve championship. Top five finishers for the reserve group were Joy Promnitz, Ellen Richter, Jordyn Metzger, Ashley Wallace, and Cassidy Jamrok.
