Crown Point earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Munster on August 23, 2026, as the Bulldogs picked up their second win of the season. Freshman Brody Kurtz scored the only goal of the match in the first half, marking the first varsity goal of his career. Crown Point’s defense and goalkeeping were equally important in preserving the shutout, with Oliver Brewer making eight saves in a strong performance between the posts. The victory improved the Bulldogs to 2-2 on the season, following a 1-0 loss to Harrison, a 12-0 win over Michigan City, and a 2-1 loss to Bishop Noll. Crown Point will look to build on the win when it returns home to face Lake Central on Wednesday, August 26, at 5 p.m., followed by a matchup against North Central on Saturday, August 29, at 9 a.m.
