Varsity Football vs. Centreville — 21-8 Loss The Comstock Colts opened their 2026 season with a hard-fought matchup against the Centreville Bulldogs. Centreville jumped out to an early 14-0 lead, but the Colts responded with a touchdown and successful two-point conversion to cut the deficit to 14-8. From there, the Comstock defense stepped up and kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard for much of the remainder of the game. The score remained 14-8 until Centreville added a late fourth-quarter touchdown to secure the 21-8 victory. The Colts return home next week to take on Saugatuck on Thursday, September 3, at 7:00 p.m.
