Cathedral defeats Bishop Chatard 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18) to win sectionals. Outside hitters Caroline Hanchar and Blaine Adams led the Irish with 13 kills and Avery Lewis added 10 kills. Mia Stubbs controlled the offense and contributed 33 assists. In the sectional semifinal, Cathedral defeated Shortridge 3-0 (25-10, 25-6, 25-13) to advance to the sectional championship.
